Open Interface by RemoteQTH.com ready 4U

There is our new article, it is Open Interface. Middle box between your TRX and PC. The Interface is based on the Arduino open source K3NG CW keyer (link), USB to serial converters, USB audio codec and USB hub among all.

   There is a block diagram:

The first seven pieces ready for you. More here.

We used two of these interfaces during IARU HF contest 2014 as OL4HQ on 15m CW. We could not find any problem, no reset needed... BORE :)

News at OL7M QTH :)

Unfortunately we do not have enough time :( Anyway we have some news there. New 5el OWA yagi for 20m band is now at 31m. It is situated above 80m wire system.

And we are not only amateur radio QTH :)

Six2two switch by QRO.cz

This is a classic design of the double switch. PCB and relays can handle up to 3,5 kW and isolation is better than 80 dB. More information is at remoteqth.com

ARRL DX CW contest 2014 OL7M M/M

First time in the M/M. Nice contest with great fun, new boys in the gang,
couple bottles of „russina wine“ before the contest, sauna and totally
relaxed atmosphere during the contest. Poor CONDX on 160m and 80m, average on
40m and nice on 20m,15m and 10m, where he WAS completed after 4 hours, hi.

Jan OK2ZAW again done an excellent job and ALL the equipment worked perfectly.
We are satisfied with all bands except 80m, where the first night were problems
with the RX and Sunday were CONDX already terrible and the loss was no longer
catch up.

Anyway, wonderful contest, thanks for all QSOs and new national record.

See you in SSB !

A little bit boring contest :(
The last contest 2013: 962 QSOs, 535 Prefixes Total Score 2,272,680

Lost more than 20 % QSOs. Worked a half of NA stations... Mr Murphy came to
visit us. Pavel OK1MU - OK6W did have some problems on 20m, I missed JA sloper
and can not use it whole contest. Some PA problems etc.

Anyway, I did have a time to test some new equipment from www.remoteqth.com and
have a fun with Pavel. We operated from one house.

Nice to be called by Alex V31RU, Allan ZS1LS, Yana YB1AR and others!

Nice competition with Stefan YU3AAA, Przemyslaw SQ8ORQ and others.

Xmas holiday and ARRL roundup 2013

Provětrali jsme tři pracoviště a většinu antén. I když jsme ještě ráno ztráceli 100 QSO oproti loňsku, nakonec se povedlo starý výsledek překonat. Více na 3830.

Smoke test: 2-antennas StackMatch, QRO.cz
